The Pillar of Salt: Your future over your past
Often than not we find ourselves looking back to our past and reminiscing about what would have been. This we would know by the end of this episode does not positively serve us. Let us take an inventory of our past but not linger there and redirect our gaze and focus on the future with unwavering faith and trust in God.
In speaking to His disciples about a coming time of great destruction, Jesus mentioned what happened to Lot’s wife and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. “Remember Lot’s wife!” He said. “Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it” -Luke 17:32–33
